Felt great recording again. I have lots of unrecorded material for next year too. MaxMusic is sending out song files to music buyers on a weekly basis so maybe I will get lucky one of these days. I will say the rejection letters are helpful...filled with detailed critiques....lots of them....lots....did I say lots?
Amazon, Netflix, and many others seek singer songwriters who are unsigned because it is cheaper. The opportunities are out there.

Michael Green, one of Sacramento's premier young guitarists  is featured prominently on this record. The driving rock guitar leads, the pretty acoustic touches, this guy can do it all. Not to mention his songwriting and singing. Known as the founder of Half Step Down...an acoustic duo Michael has a bright musical future.

Danny Miller began seriously playing in the Sacramento City College Jazz Ensemble. He is superb and shares lots of valuable insights for our stage shows and in the studio. Danny is lots of fun between takes but when he is playing it is all business.
Beth Arnoldy is no stranger to Sacramento's biggest stages. An Alto in the Sacramento Choral Society, she has a beautiful voice and it blends very well with  mine. It is great to sing with someone who has accurate pitch honed over many years of vocal performance.

Craig Thonas is founder of R St. Studios. He is the mastermind of all things musical. He recorded us, mixed the tracks, played some bass, played some piano. Easy to work with but very particular about the sound, Craig provided a magic touch and tons of guidance for us. A musical veteran, Craig honed his studio chops at Paisley Park in Minneapolis, home of Prince.
